Don’t carry your unfinished writing project through another summer

Breakthrough Summer

A 2-week bootcamp for ADHD writers

Make enough progress in the first two weeks of summer that you can enjoy July and August without that constant feeling that you “should” be writing.

June 22 – July 3   •   Breakthrough Summer   •   Let’s kick off your summer together

Does this sound (uncomfortably) familiar?

I have a confession to make...

I’m the person who helps ADHD writers structure their summers before they completely get away from them. I know exactly how unscheduled time starts out looking like freedom and ends up feeling like guilt

But two summers ago, I fell right into the trap myself. I kept saying, “I’ll have time for that this summer” about 1001 projects, until I ended up with a list I’d never be able to complete. And the writing never happened.

That’s when I realized: knowing about the trap isn’t enough. The structure has to be built in.

So I decided to build exactly what I wish I’d had.

If this makes you nod yes:

Breakthrough Summer was meant for you.

Probably not your time:

Community can help from Day 1

Someone I worked with had been writing her novel for thirty years. She wrote bits here and there, and had ended up with a collection of fragments.

She joined her first body doubling session skeptical it would help. Ninety minutes later, she had a number of pages that surprised her. And the quality?

“Possibly the best I have ever written straight off without edits,” she told me.

One session. The first she ever tried.

That is the power of writing in a community of ADHD writers.

Susanne has many gifts. . . a gift for connecting to writers to meet them where they are at and providing the needed techniques to help push through the morase, organize the chaos, and find the motivation when it is lacking. Worth every penny!

Can’t imagine having completed the novel’s third draft without Susanne

As a writer with a late mid-life ADHD diagnosis, I was relieved and horrified to understand why my passion for writing seemed like a curse, as I struggled for decades, seldom achieving goals I set for myself. After a couple of years of behavioral training and meds, I needed something more to further increase my… Read more “Can’t imagine having completed the novel’s third draft without Susanne”
