Jess Garza contacted me in November 2021, for help with her book proposal. She sent me her manuscript, resumé and social media profiles, and that’s all I needed to get to work on the proposal for her fantastic book From Fighting To Thriving: 9 Relationship Hacks to Create the Relationship you’re Seeking.

My first step, of course, was to read the book. And what I found was that the manuscript offered some fantastic practical tools and strategies to create an open, loving relationship. It is projects like these that truly make me love my job, which allows me to get all these beautiful nuggets of insight and learn at the feet of the author before anyone else has the opportunity to. Luxurious, no?

Based on this manuscript, I wrote her a book proposal from scratch. This is what she had to say about the experience:
