Are you tired of writing all by yourself?

Many ADHD writers feel like they are working in isolation. They know that they work better when they have others around, and when someone checks in with them on how they are doing. But writing can be a very isolating and solitary activity. This makes it hard for them to focus, to motivate themselves, or even to make time for writing at all. They feel sad, frustrated and lonely, and don’t feel they are making enough progress.

But with body doubling in the Writers’ Room, that no longer has to be the case!

How the Writers' Room can help

Once a week, I open a room on Google Meet where writers both with and without ADHD can come together to write. This space was designed with body doubling in mind. Many people have an easier time focusing when there is someone else around them who is also being productive. By working together as a small group, therefore, we make it easier on both ourselves and others to stay focused, motivate ourselves, and get some writing done.

What’s more, at the top of the hour I will ask you to set a goal, and at the end of the hour I will check in with you to ask if you have achieved the goal you set for yourself. This way, you have added accountability, making it easier to stay on task.

Are you looking for accountability and support?

As someone with ADHD myself, I know how hard it can be to keep motivating and focusing yourself. Wouldn’t it be great if you had someone who helped you do all that?

You no longer have to do it alone. As your ADHD writing coach, I will be with you in every Writers’ Room to help you set goals and stay focused! What’s more, the community we’re building is incredibly supportive and will be cheering you on every step of the way!
